Draft Campaign

Generate subject lines and email copy from a campaign brief to accelerate creative drafting.

Inputs

  • Campaign Brief — Core message, business goal, and offer. 1–2 sentences or a linked brief document.
  • Target Audience — Who receives the email (job title, industry, pain point). Examples: "CTOs at fintech startups" or "e-commerce marketers."
  • Tone & Voice — Brand personality guideline (professional, conversational, playful, urgent). Default: professional.
  • Message Angle — Primary value prop or hook (e.g., "time savings," "ROI," "compliance"). 1 sentence.
  • Constraints — Word limits, compliance notes, or visual specs (e.g., "subject line ≤50 characters," "GDPR footer required").

Steps

  1. Read the campaign brief and extract the core offer, goal, and benefit.
  2. Identify 3–5 subject line angles (curiosity, urgency, value, personalization, social proof).
  3. Generate 4–6 subject line options for each angle; flag the strongest 2–3.
  4. Draft the email body in HTML or plain text, opening with a hook, body in 3–4 short paragraphs, and a single clear CTA.
  5. Verify tone matches the brand voice and messaging aligns with the audience and angle.
  6. Review for subject line-to-body consistency and remove redundancy.
  7. Export subject lines and body copy as separate sections ready for a second review.

Constraints

  • Subject lines only; do not write preview text or from-line variants.
  • Draft copy only; do not send, schedule, or segment audiences.
  • Assume the sending platform will handle personalization tokens, footer compliance, and send-time optimization.

Done when: subject lines and body copy are drafted, reviewed for tone/alignment, and ready for editorial approval.
