Research Account

Research and compile a comprehensive account dossier for a target company using publicly available information.

Inputs

  • Company Name — legal entity name to research; required.
  • Max Research Time — minutes to spend on investigation; default 15, range 5–30.
  • Industry Context — optional hints on sector, size, or geography to narrow scope (e.g., "B2B SaaS, 50–200 employees, US-based").
  • Include News — boolean; fetch recent news and announcements; default true.

Steps

  1. Use deep-research to conduct a multi-source investigation of {Company Name}, focusing on founding date, funding history, leadership team, and market position.
  2. Search for recent news, press releases, and industry coverage to identify growth initiatives, new products, and market strategy.
  3. Fetch and review the company's official website, LinkedIn company profile, and public regulatory filings to verify key facts.
  4. Compile findings into a structured dossier with sections: overview, key personnel, product portfolio, recent developments, funding status, and competitive position.
  5. Note any funding rounds, M&A activity, major partnerships, or strategic pivots discovered.
  6. Assess hiring patterns and geographic expansion to identify operational momentum.
  7. Synthesize insights into 3–5 bullet-point takeaways for outbound strategy.

Constraints

  • Do not attempt direct contact with the company; use open-source research only.
  • Do not scrape protected content or bypass paywalls; surface freely available information.
  • Respect website rate limits and robots.txt directives; pause if blocked.

Done when: a fact-checked, multi-section dossier is ready to brief your sales or prospecting strategy.
